Some muslims get into the habit of of just "moving". What I mean by this is these muslims move along about life performing an action without knowing why they perform the action. When these muslim start to "slip off", if they don't have atleast a basic understanding of ahkeedah reminding them to do or not to do an action is merely just stating what or what they are not doing. You address the core of an issue. Many muslim are born into islamic families and islam is just a ho-hum daily practice. They don't really understand the purpose of what they do. Dawah stimulates the mind to react; think. Once the word why enters ones mind after talking to them that why needs to be expounded upon. Just stating what a person is doing only gives them one thought at best; oh yeah.So, I wouldn't say Ummah Films is doing dawah or giving advice. Sorry, just my thoughts.
