Gotta keep it moving

Muxlim.TV is taking longer than i expected to launch, therefore I am going to post our ISLAM WITHOUT A SYSTEM (IJS 5 Pillar Edition) & offer Muxlim.TV a more current episode as a pilot. It's uploading now maashaa Allah.

PRISLAM next up in the IJS (I'm Just Saying) series
As Salaamu alaykum,
When Dawah Goes Wrong is still being cast. We are seeking specific individuals to play certain roles & are presently awaiting confirmations & scheduling. In the meantime "The dawah Must go on..." Therefore, I will attempt to shoot & edit PRISLAM (A look into how Islam is practiced & understood behind bars). This should be very educational & telling. Please make du'a that we can do it justice.

2 new DW web/blog design proofs

J Ansari sent me to designs to choose from. We decided on one particular design that reflected "work". As with our slogan "It WORKS when you WORK."

5PWI finished!
As Salaamu alaykum,
Mu'min Azraq & I met up Sunday morning & got it done bi-idh-nillah. The filming took us a total of 1 hour. The editing took me over 3 hours. 5PWI is just over 7 minutes long is is guaranteed to entertain, educate, & make many people reflect.
Alhamdulillah alaa kulli hal (Allah be praised in every case) our intention is to please Allah (swt) alone. Subsequently, the believers are always pleased with what pleases their Lord.
All that is left to do is compress the video & upload it. Tomorrow inshaa Allah...tomorrow.

5 Pillars of Western Identity (5PWI)
As Salaamu alaykum,
If you have been following DW, you would know that 5PWI has been rewritten several times in order to make it more appealing. We shot it once & even after our best attempt at editing...it was a dud. But NOW! O NOW, your gonna get it. I started rewriting it Monday & Alhamdulillah! This morning (3:00am) I finished. Tabir! Takbir! Takbir!...Actually I'm the only one excited (Lol).
Next step is to send it out to the DW-Team for advice & suggestions. The only other matter that may delay taping is that the right side of my face is swollen because I have been delaying a badly needed root canal (no joke). Inshaa Allah I'll make a dentist appointment today & update you (my beloved Ummah) on 5PWI projected shooting, editing, & completion date.

Double GOOD NEWS. Alhamdulillah!
As Salaamu alaykum,
Firstly, Brother Jawazah has offered to buy DW a laptop so that we will be able to do on-the-spot editing. Mashaa Allah make du'ah for the brother as we make du'ah for the Ummah.
Secondly, OUR MASJID (Within a 1-mile radius) is complete. DW-Team met after Jumu'ah & advised me on a couple points. I immediately went home & made the appropriate adjustments.
All in all, the video was unanimously liked. I pray Allah (swt) that you all enjoy as well. Inshaa Allah, the video should be uploaded in a couple of hours. Gotta take the wife out to eat first.
